{"id":680,"date":"2025-08-05T10:15:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T10:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/informatics.ly\/en\/?p=680"},"modified":"2025-08-05T10:30:04","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T10:30:04","slug":"third-preparatory-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/informatics.ly\/en\/third-preparatory-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"The Third Preparatory Meeting of the Advisory Committee for the Informatics Governance Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>April 28, 2025 | At the Headquarters of the Libyan Technology Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The third preparatory meeting of the <strong>Advisory Committee<\/strong>\u2014tasked with developing the agenda and programs for the first edition of the <strong>Informatics Governance Forum<\/strong>\u2014was held this evening at the <strong>Libyan Technology Foundation<\/strong>, in preparation for the forum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by representatives from several specialized national entities, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>General Information Authority<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>National Information Security and Safety Authority (NISSA Libya)<\/strong> \u2013 Legal Affairs Director<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ministry of Communications and Informatics \u2013 Libya<\/strong> (Representative of the Head of the Authority and Director of the Experts Office)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internet Society Libya (ISOC Libya)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In addition to a select group of independent experts in the fields of policy, regulation, and electronic payment systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Discussions focused on the <strong>overall agenda of the forum<\/strong>, the <strong>selection of speakers and guests<\/strong>\u2014both local and international\u2014and the <strong>institutional attendance<\/strong> from various related sectors.
