Information governance is a fundamental pillar for enhancing security and institutional efficiency amid digital transformation.

In light of the rapid digital transformation and the increasing reliance on data and information in institutional operations, Information Governance has become a strategic necessity to ensure information security and quality, achieve regulatory compliance, and improve institutional performance. As challenges in data and information management grow, the need for national platforms for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and capacity building in this area becomes more evident. The Information Governance Forum in Libya is a national initiative aimed at highlighting the importance of implementing governance concepts within Libyan institutions, discussing the current state of policies and legislation, exploring External Email technical and organizational challenges, and showcasing best practices locally and internationally.
